설창앤드류박재단, 창립 10주년 기념 콘서트
Seolchang & Andrew Park Foundation held a chamber music concert in celebration of its 10th anniversary on the 9th (Saturday) at 7:30 PM at the Manhattan Lincoln Center Merkin Hall. The concert was a great success.
설창 앤드류박 장학재단은 재단 창립 10주년 기념 실내악 콘서트를 9일 (토)오후 7시 30분 맨하탄 링컨 센타 머킨 홀에서 실내악 콘서트가 성황리에 개최 되었다.
During his congratulatory speech, Andrew Park, the representative of the Park Foundation, expressed his gratitude to the audience for attending the 10th anniversary concert for scholarship students. He said, “Thank you for coming to the concert. We celebrate the 10th anniversary of the foundation and look forward to a brighter future. I hope this concert in the fading year brings a good time to all the attendees.”
앤드류 박 장학재단 대표는 축사에서 “ 장학생10주년 행사 콘서트에 많이 와주셔서 감사하다.장학재단 10주년을 축하하고 되돌아보며 앞으로의 더 창창한 10주년을 꿈꾸며 콘서트를 개최하게 되었다 .저물어가는 한해에 이 콘서트가 참석하신 관객분들에게 좋은 시간 되시길 바란다”고 말했다.
The audience who came to see the performance commented, “It was wonderful to witness such a meaningful concert” and “It felt like a heartwarming Christmas gift.”
Sponsored by the Korean Cultural Center in New York, the concert featured a variety of beloved and new major works in the repertoire of John Adams, Caroline Shaw, Nathan Schram, Maurice Ravel, and Amy Beach, performed by New York musicians.
공연을 보러온 관객들은 “뜻 깊은 콘서트를 관람하게 되어서 너무나 좋았다”고 “뜻깊고 훈훈한 크리스마스 선물 같았다”고 말했다.
뉴욕 한국문화원 후원으로 열린 콘서트에서는뉴욕의 음악가들은 John Adams, Caroline Shaw, Nathan Schram, Maurice Ravel 및 Amy Beach 레퍼토리의 다양하고,사랑받는 새로운 주요 작품을 선보였다.
The New York Chuncheon members, including Grammy-winning Attacca Quartet, Brooklyn Rider, International Contemporary Ensemble, A Far Cry, and Sybarite5, consisted of performers led by violinist Yooejoo Woo, the director of the New York Chuncheon Chamber Music Festival founded in 2013. Other performers included violinists Katie Hyun and Sami Merdinian, violist Nathan Schram, cellists Celia Hatton and Michael Davis, cellists Michael Nicolas and Mihai Marica, and pianists Jun Cho and Carlos Avila
뉴욕 춘천 멤버는 그래미상을 수상한 Attacca Quartet, Brooklyn Rider, International Contemporary Ensemble, A Far Cry 및 Sybarite5의 연주자로, 출연자는2013년 창단한 실내악 뉴욕 춘천 페스티벌 바이올리니스트 우예주 감독을 필두로, 바이올리니스트 Katie Hyun과 Sami Merdinian,비올리스트 Nathan Schram, Celia Hatton 및 Michael Davis,첼리스트 Michael Nicolas와 Mihai Marica,피아니스트 Jun Cho과 Carlos Avila로 구성됐다.
Seolchang & Andrew Park Foundation, established in 2012, has been leading the future for 11 years by discovering talents, including Korean students, and supporting scholarships for artists, including the winner of the composition award, through events such as the annual scholarship concert.
설창 앤드류 박 장학재단은 2012년 설립 하여 올해로 11년째 미래를 이끌어갈 인재를 발굴해 매년 한국 학생을 비롯해서 타민족과 특히 지난 2018년에는 작곡상 우승자 콘서트를 열어,예술인들 에게 장학금을 지원하고 있다.
